"Facing Luis Diaz at Liverpool was surreal – now I’m prepared to take on anyone"

Luca Stephenson, a Liverpool Academy graduate, recently reflected on his surreal experience training with the first team, including facing elite players like Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah.

After a season on loan at Barrow in League Two, Stephenson impressed Liverpool’s coaching staff, earning a spot on the club's pre-season tour in the USA. Playing in front of large crowds, he showcased his potential against top teams.

Now on loan at Dundee United, the 21-year-old is focused on gaining experience, with hopes of earning a new contract at Liverpool next season.
